Michael Kors perfume

The perfume should be clear, with a consistent color. It should not be too oily. Compare the color of the perfume to that in a real bottle in a department store. Counterfeit perfumes, which may contain harsh chemicals or be made under unsanitary conditions, do not last long and can irritate skin and cause rashes.
Real perfume comes in packaging with the label on it. Often you can buy a bottle of counterfeit perfume without any packaging. The fakes' bottles may also be scratched and look worn. The bogus bottle of Michael Kors perfume, above, is smaller than the standard bottles sold in retail outlets.
Louis Vuitton wallets and purses

- Louis Vuitton, founded in 1854, owns the world's most-valuable luxury brand, according to Millward Brown's 2009 study. Which is counterfeit -- the wallet or the handbags?
- The wallet is fake.
69% - The handbags are fake.
26% - I can't tell the difference.
5%
- The wallet is fake.
Louis Vuitton wallets and purses

Look closely at the LV monogram and the flowers. They will be symmetric on an authentic Louis Vuitton bag or wallet. Often, the monogram can appear upside down on the backside of a bag or wallet because the company uses one continuous piece of leather; that probably means it is authentic. In addition, no Louis Vuitton item will come in plastic or have plastic anywhere on it.

When you spend well above your limit, or simply spend outrageously because you can, then you are showing off.
Teilani,
You're saying billionaires can't spend hardly any money because it will look like they're showing off??? ![]()
I tend to think that as soon as a 'knock off' starts making the knock-offs, it cheapens the real thing.
Plus....... if you are carrying around a 1000.00 purse, someone will mug you....they know you have money!!!!
You get what you pay for. But, there is a breaking point. When you spend well above your limit, or simply spend outrageously because you can, then you are showing off. Quality doesn't have to cost 10's of thousands of dollars just because of a name. Sure, crap that falls apart quickly isn't the answer, but looking for quality at logical prices is a whole lot smarter and wiser than spending 6,000$ for a purse just because it has a name attached to it that advertises 'money' to those in the know.
On the fakers, there is also a level of honor that should be in business. Fraud is fraud, stealing someones name to sell your crap is wrong. The fact that a fool will spend through the nose for that knockoff simply to have something with that name on it makes the buyer just as foolish and downright stupid as the seller who abuses that lust for expensive stuff.
I think if you can afford it go for it! id buy more expensive things because they are usually higher in quality. if you cant afford it then the cheaper stuff is ok to. but on the other hand, the knockoff brands shouldn't be using the expensive names on their products.![]()
Sorry, but nothing feels better than the real thing. Even if you can't afford it you should try it some time. ![]()
I would rather wear a "no-name" brand than a fake. IMO, fakes are cheesy..I would rather get an $ 80 genuine leather bag from a "mid range" designer than rock a fake high-end bag.
fake=cheesy and I don't desire "cheesiness"
I don't live by the "fake it till you make it" mentality, because everything else about you will show that you obviously can't afford the "real" thing.
