Time for 1 more stock to short

The market remains weak with only 54% of stocks trading above their 20-day moving averages. Under my system, that 54% means that of my 20 issues, I should have 11 longs and nine shorts.

I presently have 11 long and eight short, so I'll add another short position.

Screening led me to Ciena (CIEN, news, msgs), which is trading well below its 50-day moving average and made 28 new lows in the last 65 trading sessions.

I'll sell short 270 shares of Ciena at the open.
