It dates to 1942, when patriarch and hotel magnate Conrad Hilton divorced his wife of nine years and married starlet Zsa Zsa Gabor. His son Nicky followed suit, getting hitched to actress Elizabeth Taylor.

Then along came Paris, who took headline chasing to dizzying new heights with her Internet sex tape. Even her mother couldn't resist the white-hot spotlight, starring in the ridiculous reality TV show "I Want to Be a Hilton."
