first of all - is Disney corp out of their f'ing mind !!!!
2nd - we will never really know the true un employment in our country because once it runs out you are no longer counted and the chances of you getting another job is too slim to think about unless you are an extremely qualified person for the job and then you have to go through a head hunting firm like my daughter has just to get a damn interview. it is no longer going to apply for a good job anymore - it has to be found for you
Jobless claims under 500,000 mean that hiring is going on. If that occurs and remains so for a few weeks and months, we will be in job growth. Extending unemployment is ridiculous. Just put these people on the welfare roles. My neighbors son was whining because he got laid off. Now he collects unemployment and sits on his butt all day doing nothing. I know many others like this. Unfortunately, there is no real way to check to see if these people are even looking for jobs. UI is open to a lot of abuse.
I am so sick of these contructed numbers.
